The Netherlands has announced the first tranche of more than €2 billion, planned for Ukraine in 2024 for humanitarian needs. This was announced is stated on the website of the Dutch government, UNN reports .

It is noted that the Dutch government has allocated 102 million euros for the first 4 months of 2024 to help Ukraine survive the winter and prepare for spring.
The new support package is aimed at urgent needs:
- 15 million euros for humanitarian assistance through the UN OCHA Ukraine Humanitarian Fund;
- EUR 15 million for demining of agricultural land and liberated territories, among other things;
- 62 million euros to support the Government of Ukraine in providing basic services, restore critical infrastructure and implement reforms through the restore critical infrastructure and implement reforms through the Special Program for Ukraine and Moldova Recovery (SPUR), which is part of the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank;
- EUR 10 million for equipment for Ukrainian power grids.
