Volodymyr Zelenskyy recorded a video address right from the street in Kyiv, walking to the wall of memory of the fallen heroes of Ukraine.
"Today there is only one word - 'well done'. Only one emotion - gratitude. And only one wish - to win," the President said .
Valeriy Zaluzhny also recorded a video congratulation, where he thanked his brothers, sisters and everyone who stands for the future of Ukrainian children.
"For years now, instead of "Congratulations," the whole country has been saying "Thank you." The armies of the world admire you, the enemy is afraid of you. Every Ukrainian who is in the temporarily occupied territory is waiting for you, and all our people are praying for you," Zaluzhnyi emphasized .
Defense Minister Rustem Umerov also joined the congratulations.
"You are going forward, sweeping away the enemy and leading us. You have become a symbol of military valor and indomitability for the whole world!" he summarized.
The fact that not only today, but every day Ukrainians remember those who died in the fight against the Russian aggressor was noted by the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops Oleksandr Tarnavsky.
"Their deeds will always remain in our hearts, and their memory will be eternal," Tarnavsky wrote in his address.
"Today, the Ukrainian soldier is not just mastering, but shaping the most modern practices of warfare. He is writing the modern history of Ukraine, Europe and the world, giving a fierce rebuff to the enemy,"said Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi in his congratulatory message and thanked all branches and services of the Armed Forces and representatives of other components of the Security and Defense Forces.
The Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Nayev said that the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is already a national holiday and thanked "everyone on whose skill, courage, strength of spirit and steely will the future of our country depends".
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Shaptala, in turn, noted that the efforts and sacrifices of the Ukrainian military inspire hope for the future of other Ukrainians and said: "It is an honor for me to be a part of the close-knit team that is the Armed Forces today. Thank you to each and every one of you."
Finally, the head of the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate Kyrylo Budanov addressed the Armed Forces with congratulations and emphasized:
"We will take revenge for the Ukrainians who died at the hands of non-humans, for our brothers who fought to their last breath, for the children whose childhood was taken away by the war. We will destroy the invaders, and war and political criminals will be brought to justice."
