The partisan movement "ATESH" claims that the Kremlin is preparing to remove the Russia-appointed head of occupied Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov. According to the movement, personnel changes may occur after the so-called "elections" scheduled for September, reports UNN.

As reported by "ATESH", their agents in the occupation administration of the peninsula claim that Moscow has allegedly already made a decision to dismiss Aksyonov, who has headed the occupation administration of Crimea since 2014.
According to the movement, he is the one they plan to hold responsible for the deterioration of the socio-economic situation and problems with supplying the occupied peninsula. "ATESH" believes that in this way the Kremlin will try to reduce public discontent and shift blame for systemic problems onto the local leadership.

According to "ATESH", Aksyonov allegedly already realizes the risk of losing his position and is trying to demonstrate to Moscow strict control over the situation, in particular by arranging public reprimands of local officials and deputies.
The movement claims that after the September pseudo-elections, Aksyonov may be replaced by one of the candidates already being considered by the Kremlin. Among the main contenders is the occupation "Minister of Internal Affairs" of Crimea, Oleksiy Dmytriiev.

Also, according to "ATESH", Moscow is working on the option of appointing one of the Russian military personnel to the position under the "Time of Heroes" program, which provides for the promotion of participants in the war against Ukraine to leadership positions.
