The Russian authorities continue to lure the population to war against Ukraine, significantly increasing financial payments for signing the first contract. This is reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, writes UNN.

It is noted that the main contingent of Russian "volunteers" are people in difficult situations and radicalized youth who are easily susceptible to propaganda.
Thus, in some regions, the amount of a one-time payment since the beginning of this year has been increased to more than 2 million rubles (23,629 dollars at the rate of the Russian Central Bank as of March 23, 2025). At the same time, in the Samara region, recruits are offered almost 4 million rubles (47,259 dollars).
The Ukrainian intelligence emphasizes that the regular increase in financial bonuses is a forced step by the Kremlin, which indicates difficulties with staffing units.
It is becoming increasingly difficult for the authorities of the aggressor state to find a sufficient number of people willing to fight, even for significant funds.
