The first Recruitment Center of the Main Intelligence Directorate has been opened in Kyiv. It will test candidates. This was stated by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, UNN reports with reference to the Main Intelligence Directorate.
Details
According to Budanov, this is the first public platform for selecting future intelligence officers, where candidates will undergo interviews, basic testing and receive advice on service.
On average, only one out of a hundred candidates gets the right to serve in the ranks of military intelligence. Careful selection and emphasis on quality is a focused strategy that has allowed to form an elite military environment. The result of this approach is nine sunken ships and boats of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, successful raids into the enemy rear and thousands of liquidated occupants
The head of the department added that among those who want to join the Main Intelligence Directorate, the special forces units are the most popular. And he emphasized that in the conditions of war "the main burden is on them".
Budanov expressed hope that thanks to the work of the center, the number of people willing to join the service in the Main Intelligence Directorate will increase - primarily in special purpose units.
He also said that intelligence consists of both combat units and "extraction" units, which are engaged in the search for valuable intelligence. Therefore, among the requirements for candidates in combat formations - age from 18 to 40 years, experience, sports and motivation to perform combat missions. And among the requirements for candidates who want to join the ranks of "extraction" units - the availability of relevant competencies and experience in a related specialty. Since the Main Intelligence Directorate is primarily erudite military personnel.
