The European Investment Bank (EIB) has provided 55 million euros to restore Ukraine's social infrastructure, the Ministry of Development said on Saturday, UNN reports.

"The EIB has provided €55 million in EU-guaranteed financing for the Ukraine Recovery Program to reconstruct hospitals, social housing, educational institutions, heating, water and wastewater systems, and other critical social infrastructure in 2025 and beyond," the statement said.
As noted, the funding will be used to implement 151 subprojects planned under the program in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovs'k, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions.
This contribution is part of the EIB's Emergency Solidarity Package for Ukraine, developed in cooperation with the European Commission, the ministry said.

According to the Ministry of Development, in 2024, several subprojects were successfully completed under the Ukraine Recovery Program, including a water treatment plant in Bucha, Kyiv region, two schools in Vinnytsia region, a children's infectious diseases unit in Zhytomyr region, and now a sewer pressure collector in Zhmerynka, Vinnytsia region.
