The Russians use not only weapons, but also insidious methods of information and psychological warfare. One of the most dangerous is recruitment, which can become a trap even for children. This is reported by the National Police of Ukraine, writes UNN.
Imagine that a "new friend" writes to you on social networks. He is interested in your hobbies, supports your ideas, offers to earn extra money with a "simple task" or even become part of a "secret mission"... Sounds exciting? In fact, it's a trap. Recruiters act in this way - playing on trust, promising easy money and opportunities. But behind this are criminal schemes, danger and real threats,
How to recognize an attempted recruitment?
- you are asked to transmit information, photograph objects or the movement of military personnel;
- they promise good earnings without any effort;
- they convince you that "no one will know" and that "there is nothing wrong here";
- they pressure, manipulate, blackmail or even intimidate.
What to do if someone is trying to recruit you?
- Do not transmit any information, even if it seems unimportant;
- Immediately tell your parents, teachers, or contact the police.
Remember: a stranger online may not be who they seem to be. Don't let anyone drag you into a game where the rules are written by a criminal. Stay safe, take care of yourself and your friends!
