During the day, enemy troops carried out 57 attacks in Sumy region, 129 explosions were recorded. This is reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration, UNN reports.

The settlements of Sumy, Khotyn, Yunakiv, Bilopil, Krasnopil, Velykopysariv, Novoslobid, Putivl, Shalygyn, Druzhbiv, Seredina-Buda, Znob-Novgorod communities were hit.
Khotyn, Bilopil and Krasnopil communities suffered the most. In Khotyn community, the enemy carried out air strikes and mortar attacks, as well as attacked with drones. In Bilopilska community, 19 explosions were recorded as a result of UAV ammunition drops, 43 as a result of mortar attacks, and three explosions from FPV drones.
Krasnopilska community suffered the most destruction, where shelling damaged residential buildings, a shop, two pharmacies, a school, a lyceum and several cars. Five civilians were injured as a result of these attacks.
In addition, other communities in Sumy region came under fire: a ballistic missile attack was recorded in the Sumy community, which resulted in the injury of three civilians and the destruction of non-residential buildings.
