Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the Speaker of the State Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia Urška Klakočar-Zupančič. The speaker of the parliament said this on his Facebook page, UNN reports.

During the meeting, Stefanchuk thanked Slovenia for helping Ukraine counter Russian armed aggression.
They discussed defense support. He emphasized the importance of the military assistance packages already provided by Slovenia to Ukraine. At the same time, the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine need additional military equipment. Outlined the urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The parties also discussed sanctions against Russia. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasized that pressure on Russia should be continued to weaken its ability to finance the war.
Stefanchuk also discussed the reconstruction of Ukraine with the Chairman of the State Assembly of Slovenia.
I thanked for the projects already implemented in Kharkiv and Zhytomyr regions. I hope for further involvement of Slovenia in the restoration of Ukrainian cities
