Spectators will return to stadiums: Ukraine will develop a procedure for safe access

The Ukrainian government is working on a plan to safely return fans to stadiums, focusing on both financial benefits and the necessary safety of spectators and athletes.

Today, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine instructed the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and security agencies to develop a procedure for admitting spectators to stadium stands in compliance with security conditions. This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, according to UNN.

"The return of fans will help stadiums and clubs to be financially viable again, and no TV broadcast completely replaces the emotions of the stadium. But the primary issue for us is the safety of spectators and athletes

- said acting Minister of Youth and Sports Matviy Bidnyi.

An algorithm is being developed to make sporting events accessible and as safe as possible for spectators.

The head of the Ministry of Youth and Sports emphasized that allowing spectators to the stands will help develop the sports industry, improve the financial condition of sports organizations, and charge fans with emotions that can only be obtained at the stadium.
