Russian troops launched a night attack on southern Ukraine using Shahed attack drones and X-59 missiles from the Black Sea toward Odesa region, but Ukrainian air defense successfully destroyed all targets without hitting them, the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine reported on Tuesday, UNN reports.

At night, Russians reportedly attacked the southern regions again with Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones. "Air defense units repelled the drone attack for 2.5 hours. 8 targets were destroyed: 2 in Kherson region, 4 in the sky over Mykolaiv region, 2 more left our operational area in the direction of Dnipropetrovs'k region, where they were also destroyed. No hits were made," the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine wrote on Telegram.
"During this attack, the enemy also launched an X-59 missile from a tactical aircraft from the Black Sea in the direction of Odesa region. Air defense units destroyed the target over the sea," the Defense Forces of the South reported.
