The electric crossover on the MEB+ platform features a range of up to 440 km and a 475-liter trunk. The top-tier version accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds.

Skoda has unveiled the new Epiq compact electric crossover, which focuses on practicality, a spacious interior, and an affordable price. The model is built on the MEB+ platform and is offered with two battery options providing a range of up to 440 km. This was reported by InsideEVs, according to UNN.

Skoda is betting on maximum practicality with its new small electric crossover, the Epiq. It is technically related to the Volkswagen ID. Polo and Cupra Raval, but its taller and more "boxy" body emphasizes the focus on utility.

It looks like a scaled-down version of Skoda's larger electric crossovers—the Skoda Elroq and Skoda Enyaq—featuring the same recognizable "face" and details borrowed from the 7S concept, including vertical elements on the lower bumper. In official photos without other cars for scale, the Epiq may appear larger than it actually is.

Its length is 164.2 inches (4,171 mm)—the same as the Fiat 600e—but it is slightly taller at 62.2 inches (1,581 mm). Skoda claims the Epiq's interior provides "significant space for passengers and luggage" thanks to a 475-liter trunk, as well as an additional 25 liters in the front trunk (frunk) and approximately another 28 liters in cabin storage compartments.

The Skoda Epiq is built on the MEB+ platform—a more affordable front-wheel-drive version of the MEB architecture shared with the electric Polo and Raval. The base version is equipped with a 38.5 kWh battery (37.5 kWh usable capacity) based on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry.

A version with a 55 kWh battery (51.5 kWh usable capacity) based on nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) chemistry is also available. Skoda expects the LFP battery version to have a range of up to 310 km under the WLTP cycle, while the longest-range version will cover up to 440 km on a single charge.

Charging speed depends on the battery version. The base Epiq 35 supports DC charging speeds of up to 50 kW and charges from 10 to 80% in approximately 33 minutes. The Epiq 40 version supports 90 kW, reducing the time to 25 minutes, while the top-tier Epiq 55 with 105 kW charges in about 24 minutes.

Power also varies: the base 35 version has 114 hp and accelerates to 100 km/h in 11 seconds. The 40 version has 133 hp and slightly faster acceleration, while the top 55 version with 208 hp reaches 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds.

Only front-wheel-drive versions with a single electric motor are offered, as the platform is not designed for all-wheel drive.

Standard equipment includes a 13-inch multimedia screen running on an Android-based system, 17-inch wheels (with options up to 20 inches), and a center airbag between the front seats. Optional features include the Travel Assist 3.0 system, which can react to traffic lights and stop the car if necessary, as well as automated parking.
