According to the investigation, the organizer of the scheme was a 30-year-old former secretary of the city district court of Odesa region, who, using connections from her previous job, arranged for cases to be considered under an expedited procedure.

In addition, the offender engaged a 30-year-old resident of Odesa region, whose duties included finding "clients" who wanted to avoid mobilization, and women with minor children who had to confirm the paternity of men they did not know in court for money.

The "price" for the services was $3,500, of which the mothers received $500.

Law enforcement officers detained the organizer and her accomplice in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and conducted a series of searches, during which they seized material evidence of criminal activity - court decisions, "draft" records, mobile phones, money, bank cards and computer equipment.

Investigators notified the detainees and a 26-year-old woman who confirmed the paternity of the "client" in court of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine.

They face imprisonment for up to nine years with confiscation of property.
