The police reported that the teacher hit a 10th grade student and swore at him because the teenager did not respond to the comments during the lesson. The teacher faces 5 years of imprisonment for the crime. The school where everything happened is conducting its own investigation. At this time, the teacher has been suspended from work.

Today, April 7, students of the Vinnytsia-Khutorskyi Lyceum held a rally in support of the teacher, whose actions recently outraged the community, - report local media.
Parents of schoolchildren and colleagues of the teacher also gathered under the walls of the institution. The children held placards and loudly shouted "Serhiy Anatoliyovych (the teacher's name - ed.) - we are with you".
The posters also contained inscriptions in support of the teacher:
"We demand laws to protect teachers",
"No bullying of teachers",
"We are for the teacher",
"without Serhiy Yanovets, the lesson is not the same" and others.

The Vinnytsia region police reported that the incident occurred on April 1. It was established that the incident began because a 10th grade student did not respond to the teacher's comments during the lesson, which caused the man to hit the teenager. The next day, juvenile police officers learned about the incident and law enforcement officers began investigating criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 126 (beatings and torture) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
