The published satellite images indicate that a large-scale fire is ongoing on the territory of the enterprise. According to the Russian Unified Dispatch Service, the fire has covered over 20 thousand square meters.
The Sloviansk refinery, owned by the company "Slavyansk-ECO," is one of the largest independent oil refineries in Russia. Its capacity is about 4-5 million tons of crude oil per year, and the enterprise provides about 9% of oil refining in the Southern Federal District and exports petroleum products through Black Sea ports.
Earlier, this oil refinery has repeatedly been the target of attacks by Ukrainian drones.
