Details

Citing Russian investigators, the BAZA Telegram channel reported that during searches in Kerch, Yalta, Sevastopol and Feodosiya, they found correspondence with leaders of volunteer groups fighting on the side of Ukraine in the detainees' phones. They also confiscated knives, weapons, pepper spray, extremist literature and clothes with neo-Nazi symbols. We would like to point out that the props also included the Russian imperial flag.

According to media reports, investigators believe the founder of the Crimean cell of the "White Masti" is 24-year-old Mikhail Maurov, who went to Georgia and planned to join the "Legion of Freedom of Russia".

According to Russian investigators, the coordinator allegedly coordinated Maurov on how to form a detachment of fighters on the territory of Crimea, train them and then transfer them to the territory of Ukraine.

According to "Baza", the members of the group were detained under administrative articles. However, in the near future they may be prosecuted under articles on public calls for extremist activities, repeated propaganda of extremist symbols and violation of the right to freedom of conscience and religion.
