The Legion "Freedom of Russia", the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Siberian  Battalion announced fire attacks on military positions located in the cities of Belgorod and Kursk. Russian volunteers called on the local population to immediately leave the cities. This is stated in a joint statement of the Legion "Freedom of Russia", the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Siberian Battalion, reports UNN

We are addressing our fellow citizens: residents of the city of Belgorod, officials of the Belgorod administration and all those who can hear us.  Putin's murderers are launching massive attacks on peaceful Ukrainian cities, setting up their positions between your homes, your children's schools and government buildings. Every day, dozens of ordinary innocent people (mostly women and children) are killed by shelling from Belgorod. The shelling of Ukraine from the territory of Belgorod must stop! In this regard, we are forced to inflict a fire defeat on the military positions located in the cities of Belgorod and Kursk

- the volunteer units said in a statement.

In order to avoid civilian casualties, we called on all local residents to leave the cities immediately.  And the local authorities - to start evacuating the Kursk and Belgorod regions.

On the morning of Wednesday, March 13, the governor of the Belgorod region announced the shelling of the village of Tiotkino in the Glushkovsky district. At 1 p.m., Russian publics started writing about the shelling of Totkinoagain.

In turn, LSR stated that they are still in  tetkino.
