The number of fatalities from the russian strike on a foreign vessel near Odesa has increased to 10, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) reported on Monday on social media, writes UNN.

"russia continues its deliberate terror against civilian shipping and port infrastructure of Ukraine. Yesterday, near Odesa, the enemy struck a merchant vessel flying the flag of Guinea-Bissau, which was leaving a Ukrainian port after loading corn," the statement reads.
As noted, there were 17 crew members on board — citizens of Syria and India, as well as a pilot from the "Delta-Pilot" branch of the State Enterprise "USPA".
The search and rescue operation lasted all night. The fire on the vessel has been contained. Eight crew members were rescued and brought ashore. Unfortunately, 10 people, including the pilot of the State Enterprise "USPA", died
