Russia attacked Smila in the Cherkasy region; three people are known to have been injured, Cherkasy Regional Military Administration head Ihor Taburets and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Wednesday, UNN writes.

"Since early morning, the Cherkasy region has been under alert. In particular, our Smila community came under enemy fire. Currently, we are recording the crash of Russian UAVs at a number of locations in the city and neighboring villages. This concerns residential infrastructure. We have three injured: two are in serious condition, one is in moderate condition," Taburets wrote on social media.
The State Emergency Service clarified that "as a result of the Russian UAV attack on the city of Smila, three men aged 41, 33, and 29 were injured."
As indicated, all have been taken to hospitals and are receiving the necessary assistance.
The State Emergency Service reported that "despite repeated threats of enemy strikes, rescuers extinguished fires at four locations simultaneously."
"Sappers inspected the impact sites. State Emergency Service psychologists worked with the victims and local residents, providing necessary support," the report says.
