In Chernihiv, 20 people are already known to have been injured as a result of Russia's strike on a high-rise building, Chernihiv Regional State Administration head Viacheslav Chaus reported on social media on Monday, UNN writes.
Rescuers extinguished the fire following a Russian drone strike on a high-rise building in Chernihiv. It is already known that 20 people were injured. Two of them are children, aged 12 and 17. A 17-year-old girl and an elderly woman were hospitalized—the latter is in serious condition. Medics provided assistance to 18 other people; all of them are receiving outpatient treatment
According to him, "the high-rise building was damaged. Police bomb-disposal experts believe that the aggressor used a 'Geran-5' drone".
"Another cynical act by the Russians—to launch a drone in broad daylight directly at the center of Chernihiv. Directly at people. I thank all the services that responded very quickly after this strike. I am grateful to the medics and psychologists for helping our people," the head of the Regional State Administration said.
Number of people affected by Russia's strike on a building in Chernihiv risen to 1724.08.26, 14:00
