Russian troops struck Chernihiv region with mortars, drones and artillery over the past day, 58 explosions were recorded, the Northern Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service reported on Friday, UNN reports.
"During the day, Russian troops attacked the border of Chernihiv region with 120 mm mortars, drones and cannon artillery. 58 explosions were recorded," the Facebook post reads and lists:
- Novhorod-Siverska community: 32 explosions (allegedly caused by FPV drones, cannon artillery and mortars) in the area of Mykhalchyna Sloboda, Hremyach, Pushkari and Vorobiivka.
As a result of hostile shelling, 6 private houses were damaged. There were no casualties among the local population.
- Semenivka community: 12 explosions (1 UAV drop, 1 arrival, probably FPV drone, and 10 arrivals, probably from cannon artillery) in the vicinity of Semenivka.
- Snovska community: 14 explosions (probably from 120-mm mortars) in the vicinity of Khrinivka and Kliusy.
There is no information on deaths or injuries among the local population as a result of shelling.
