Several UAVs were allegedly shot down over the Baltimore military airfield in Voronezh on the morning of December 25, damaging a garage and the roof of a house. In the Volgograd region, on the night of December 26, drone debris fell on the territory of an industrial enterprise in the Kotovsk district. This was reported by UNN with reference to Astra and Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov.
According to Astra, the main target of yesterday's attack on the Voronezh region was the Baltimore military airfield, where several UAVs were shot down in the morning of December 25. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that 23 UAVs were shot down.
Drone debris fell on a garage on Vynohradna Street in Voronezh, causing it to burn down. In the village of Novohremyache, a downed drone damaged the roof of a residential building on Zhovtneva Street.
According to Astra, there were no casualties and the airfield was not damaged.
According to the governor of Volgograd region, Andrey Bocharov, at night, the Defense Ministry's air defense forces allegedly repelled a UAV attack on the territory of the region. "There were no casualties, no damage to civilian or military facilities. The wreckage of one UAV fell on the territory of an industrial enterprise in Kotovsk district without hitting the main production facilities and causing a fire. Operational services are working at the site," the head of the region wrote.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that air defense forces destroyed five drones overnight over the Volgograd, Voronezh and Belgorod regions.
