The Russian Federation is actively deploying equipment and special forces to the Pokrovsk direction. This was reported by the Commander of the National Guard Oleksandr Pivnenko, UNN reports.
"Pokrovske direction. Over the past few days, I have been working in the areas where our military units and subdivisions are performing their tasks... The enemy continues to concentrate significant efforts here. It involves a large number of personnel, conducts constant artillery and air strikes on our positions," said Colonel Pivnenko.
He said that together with his commanders, they analyzed the operational situation and possible enemy actions in detail. Particular attention was paid to coordination, logistics and engineering support.
The NGU commander noted that since the beginning of the week, the fighters destroyed 3 tanks, 7 armored vehicles, 3 self-propelled artillery systems, and more than 10 units of enemy vehicles.
"We repelled dozens of assaults, as a result of which the enemy lost several hundred killed and wounded," added Pivnenko.
