According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of July 4 (from 6:00 p.m. on July 3), the enemy attacked with one Iskander-M ballistic missile from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, one Kh-59/69 guided air missile from the Black Sea area, and 86 Shahed-type attack UAVs (including jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and "Parody"-type decoy drones from the directions of: Bryansk, Kursk, Prymorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo, Oryol – russia, Donetsk - temporarily occupied territory.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., air defense shot down/suppressed 69 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types in the north, south, and east of the country.
