In the Kyiv region, more than 17,000 facilities damaged by Russian aggression have been fully and partially restored to ensure the life support of the city. This was reported by the head of the CRMA Ruslan Kravchenko, who visited the city of Irpin together with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, UNN reports.
As a result of Russia's full-scale invasion of Kyiv region, more than 29,000 objects have been destroyed or damaged. Most of them are housing. The restoration of the region began immediately after the liberation from Russian criminals. To date, more than 17,000 facilities have been fully and partially restored, and more than 17,000 have been restored to life support
According to him, first of all, apartment and private houses are being rebuilt in the region. As Kravchenko pointed out, everything possible is being done "so that people return home and make plans for the future in Ukraine.
The day before, the head of the CRMA, together with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Oleksiy Kuleba, visited Irpin. As Kravchenko pointed out, this city was the most destroyed after the arrival of the Russian world.
There, they talked to residents of two houses - at 14g Lysenko Street and 42 Davydchuk Street - that were restored with UNITED24 funds and will soon be put into operation.
"It's inspiring to hear people's words of gratitude, and even more so when you see happy children's eyes and kids playing carefree in the yards," the RMA chief commented on the conversation with the residents.
In total, according to Kravchenko, we will restore 18 apartment buildings in Kyiv region at the expense of UNITED24. These are Myla, Borodyanka, Irpin, Gostomel, Buzova. Soon, more than 4 thousand residents of the region will be able to return to their homes.
Kravchenko told the head of state about other restored facilities, such as schools, kindergartens, medical facilities, and the construction of shelters. He shared his plans for reconstruction this year.
