The Russian authorities have launched online courses to prepare teenagers for participation in the military-patriotic game "Zarnitsa 2.0". These courses are available to all schoolchildren of Russia and the occupied territories in digital format. This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CPD), UNN informs.
Details
It is noted that the program offers several levels of training: from general familiarization with the "history of Russian warfare" to narrow specializations - assault trooper, UAV operator, sapper, or war correspondent.
The project organizers are Kremlin-controlled paramilitary structures "Yunarmiya", "Dvizheniye Pervykh", and the military-sports training center "Voin", which systematically engage in the militarization of children and youth
It is indicated that the use of the online platform allows bypassing the problem of limited resources: since the authorities lack the capacity to simultaneously send hundreds of thousands of teenagers to real training grounds, they are involving them in the militarized game "Zarnitsa 2.0" through video lessons.
"These courses, like the game "Zarnitsa 2.0" itself, fit into the Kremlin's overall strategy of ideological indoctrination of children. Through gamification, the Russian authorities normalize war, turning initial military training into entertainment. In this way, the RF authorities aim to form a personnel reserve for the Kremlin's future wars," - the CPD summarizes.
