Family members of EU employees have begun to be evacuated from the Gaza Strip. This was announced by the EU chief diplomat Josep Borrell, UNN reports.
The first group of 19 people - dependents of EU staff - left Gaza
Borrell thanked the President of Israel and the heads of the Israeli and Egyptian Foreign Ministries.

On Sunday, November 12, 826 foreign passport holders crossed into Egypt from Gaza through the Rafah crossing.
