Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Ukraine, Neil Crompton. This was reported by UNN with reference to Kravchenko's post on Telegram.
Details
As Kravchenko noted, Britain plays an important role in holding Russia accountable for crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, this is happening through the participation of Great Britain in the work of the International Criminal Court and support in the creation of a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression.
I thanked Great Britain for its military, humanitarian, and financial support to Ukraine, as well as for assisting our prosecutors and investigators in investigating war crimes according to international standards.
As the Prosecutor General of Ukraine noted, during the meeting with the British diplomat, issues of the deportation of Ukrainian children by Russians, as well as the extradition of Ukrainian individuals hiding from justice in Great Britain, were raised.
Such meetings are another confirmation that democratic countries remain by Ukraine's side and work together for justice. I thank Great Britain for its support, trust, and consistency.
