Military counterintelligence of the Security Service detained another FSB agent in Odesa. She was preparing coordinates for new missile and drone strikes by the Russian Federation on the city, and in order to avoid justice, she was planning to flee to Russia. This is reported by the SBU writes UNN.
Details
It is noted that the adjustment was carried out by a 39-year-old local unemployed woman. She left appeals to Russians to "seize Odesa" on the network, where she came to the "attention" of the FSB, and after remote recruitment, she began collecting data on the geolocation of the Defense Forces. On the instructions of the enemy, the defendant had to adjust the air attack on the locations of the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also, the occupiers hoped to obtain the coordinates of the temporary stay of Ukrainian border guards and police officers who provide tasks on the southern front.
To disguise her intelligence trips, the woman took her 6-year-old son for a walk, and she photographed the objects of actual targets and marked their coordinates on Google maps. After that, she wrote an agent report and prepared to transfer it to her Russian handler.
After completing the tasks, the occupiers promised their accomplice "evacuation" to the Russian Federation through a third country with further employment in the territory of the aggressor country.
The SBU's military counterintelligence thwarted the agent's plans: she was exposed at the initial stage of her intelligence, documented and detained in her own home. During the search, she was found to have a phone and a tablet with anonymous chats in the messenger she used to contact the FSB.
Investigators of the Security Service informed the detainee of the charges under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law). The offender is in custody. She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property, the statement said.
Recall
Earlier, UNN wrote that the rashists recruited a 14-year-old for a terrorist attack under the threat of explicit photos and wanted to blow her up: the girl was detained.
