Due to the consequences of Russian attacks and abnormal heat, from 17:00 to 22:00 today, hourly blackout schedules are being applied in all regions of Ukraine. As a result of enemy attacks, five regions are partially without power, and eight due to bad weather, the Ministry of Energy reported on Tuesday, writes UNN.
Due to the consequences of Russian attacks and abnormally hot weather, which led to a significant increase in electricity consumption, from 17:00 to 22:00 today, power limitation schedules for industry and businesses, as well as hourly blackout schedules for all categories of consumers in the amount of up to one queue, are being applied in all regions of Ukraine
Consumers were urged, if possible, to use energy-intensive electrical appliances during the daytime — from 10:00 to 15:00, and during the evening peak load period, from 16:00 to 23:00, to consume electricity sparingly. This will help reduce the load on the power system and avoid the introduction of stricter restrictions.

According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption continues to grow. Today, June 30, as of 09:30, it was 1.2% higher than at the same time the previous day — Monday. The reason for the changes is the hot weather across the entire territory of Ukraine, which causes the massive use of air conditioners.
Yesterday, June 29, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 7.9% higher than the maximum of the previous working day — Friday, June 26. The reason is a significant increase in air temperature in all regions of Ukraine.
Enemy attacks
Due to hostilities and Russian shelling of energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions are temporarily left without electricity supply.
Energy workers are working around the clock to restore power to Ukrainian homes as quickly as possible.
"Yesterday in Zaporizhzhia, as a result of an attack by an enemy FPV drone on public transport, an employee of a gas distribution company was injured. The victim was hospitalized and is receiving the necessary medical care," the statement said.
Bad weather
"Due to bad weather, almost 600 settlements in the Volyn, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions remain without electricity," the Ministry of Energy stated.
Repair crews are already working to restore electricity supply.
