Over 17,000 subscribers in Druzhkivka left without gas supply due to Russian strikes

Due to shelling on June 1, 2026, gas supply has been suspended in the Druzhkivka community. 17,368 subscribers in the city and neighboring villages remain without gas.

Due to systematic Russian shelling, the Druzhkivka community in the Donetsk region has been left without gas supply, UNN reports, citing Donetskoblgaz.

According to the dispatcher of the linear production department of main gas pipelines, today, June 1, 2026, the inlet and outlet valves at the Druzhkivka gas distribution station were closed 

- the statement reads.

As reported by Donetskoblgaz, this decision was made due to constant daily shelling by Russian occupation forces. As a result of repeated damage to the gas networks, there is currently no technical capability to carry out emergency restoration work and ensure a stable gas supply.

The company added that 17,368 subscribers remain without gas:

▪️ Druzhkivka

— 4,151 private sector subscribers;

— 13,342 public sector subscribers;

▪️ Kindrativka village

— 2 private sector subscribers;

▪️ Druzhkivske (Chervonozoryane) village

— 15 private sector subscribers.
