Power engineers are working to eliminate the consequences of another massive Russian attack on the energy sector and restore stable power supply, blackout schedules are in effect today, electricity imports are planned from 5 neighboring countries, the Energy Ministry said on Saturday, UNN reports.

On December 13, Russia launched another massive missile and drone attack on the Ukrainian energy system. "Power engineers are working to eliminate the consequences and restore stable energy supply," the Energy Ministry said.
"As a result of the shelling, the transmission system operator is temporarily applying hourly outage schedules," the Ministry of Energy said.
And they called on all consumers to use electricity rationally. Economical consumption, as indicated, helps to reduce the load on the system.
Over the past day, power companies restored power to 40,156 consumers who were cut off as a result of the hostilities.

For the current day, imports from Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, and Moldova are forecasted to total 15,898 MWh with a capacity of 1,230 MW.
