The SBU has collected evidence against Russian colonel Oleg Skitsky, who was involved in missile strikes on critical infrastructure in Ukraine. He is suspected of violating the laws and customs of warfare.

Law enforcement officers have collected  evidence on another war criminal from the Russian Federation who is involved in missile strikes on critical infrastructure in Ukraine. We are talking about Colonel Oleg Skitsky, commander of the 121st Heavy Bomber Regiment of the Russian Air Force. This was stated in the Security Service of Ukraine, reports UNN.

Details

It is documented that on the orders of the official, his subordinates carried out massive air attacks on the Ukrainian energy system. the main targets of the enemy were key power generating enterprises and power substations in the Kiev, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad and Vinnytsia regions

To attack Ukrainian power facilities,  the invaders lifted Tu-95 missile carriers into the air, from which they fired x-101 strategic cruise missiles at Ukraine.

As a result of enemy attacks, there were dead and dozens wounded among the civilian population of our state.

In addition, Russian attacks on critical infrastructure in Ukraine led to massive de-energization of residential buildings, hospitals, schools and kindergartens in the cold season.

Based on the collected evidence, Security Service investigators informed Skitsky in absentia of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 438 and Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of laws and customs of warfare committed by prior agreement of a group of persons)
