Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán congratulated center-right candidate Péter Magyar on his election victory, UNN reports.

Preliminary results, with 53.45% of votes counted, show that Magyar's Tisza party will win 136 seats in Hungary's 199-seat parliament, compared to 56 seats for Orbán's Fidesz party.

Péter Magyar, the opposition leader, stated that Orbán congratulated his party on its "victory."

In a Facebook post, Magyar wrote: "Prime Minister Viktor Orbán congratulated us on our victory by phone."
