The Verkhovna Rada has adopted as a basis a draft law that provides for the possibility of transferring an employee to remote or home-based work if his child is studying at school remotely. About it writes UNN with reference to people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak and the card of the Bill No. 10164-1.
Details
"No. 10164-1-improving the regulation of home and remote work. As a basis (226)," Zheleznyak said.
According to the draft law, it provides for the possibility of transferring one of the parents of a child (under 14 years of age) who is studying in institutions of general secondary education remotely, not only to distance, but also to home-based work (for the duration of such training).
addition
According to the law of Ukraine of February 4, 2021 No. 1213-IX "on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine on improving the legal regulation of remote, home-based work and work with the use of flexible working hours", two independent forms of Labor Organization were introduced: remote and home-based.
Remote workers work anywhere of their choice. At the same time, they must be in touch with the employer using information and communication technologies.
A home-based employee performs work at the place of residence or in other places designated by him outside the employer's premises. Such work is characterized by a fixed work area or technical means, such as tools, accessories for the production of products, services, or other work. A home-based employee is" linked " to the address specified in the employment contract and can only change it with the permission of the employer.
A home-based employee usually follows the general operating mode of the enterprise. While the internal labor regulations do not apply to remote work. It distributes working hours at its own discretion.
