Border guards at the Krakivets checkpoint found drugs and crossbows with arrows on a British citizen traveling by bus. This was reported by the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service, UNN reports.
During the inspection of a Ukrainian-registered bus traveling from Kyiv to Świnoujście, Jessica the spaniel alerted to one of the passengers' travel suitcases. Inside, they found two ziplock bags with marijuana and amphetamine,
Border guards noted that, according to the 60-year-old owner of the suitcase, a British citizen, he was moving the found items for personal use.
In addition, the joint inspection team found two crossbows with arrows and two rubber batons.
The border guards sent a report to the National Police about the detection of signs of a criminal offense under Art. 309 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal production, manufacture, purchase, storage, transportation or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues without the purpose of sale) and Art. 263 of the Criminal Code (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives).
As noted, since the beginning of the year, border guard dogs have helped to detect more than 13 kilograms of drugs in Lviv region.

A group of drug dealers who supplied cocaine in coffee packages and sold it via Telegram were exposed in the capital . During the searches, 800 g of cocaine, 2 kg of cannabis, and UAH 5 million were seized.
