The detained 18-year-old man involved in the murder of linguist Iryna Farion is being prepared to be served with a notice of suspicion of premeditated murder, the Prosecutor General's Office said, according to UNN.
At present, under the procedural control of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the detainee is being served a notice of suspicion of premeditated murder (Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and the issue of choosing a measure of restraint is being decided
It is known that during the preparation for the crime, the 18-year-old man rented at least three apartments in Lviv.
His identity was established using photos from smart surveillance cameras. He was detained in Dnipro at his place of residence.
The investigation is ongoing. All circumstances are being established.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv region with the operational support of the SBU.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on July 25, an 18-year-old man, who was allegedly involved in the premeditated murder of Iryna Farion, was detained in Dnipro.
According to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, law enforcement officers have enough evidence to claim that it was the 18-year-old who shot at linguist Iryna Farion in Dnipro. According to him, the investigation lasted 139 hours.
