Ukrainian forces were forced to retreat from their limited positions in the Pokrovsk sector after a recent advance by enemy troops. Although the occupiers captured Ptyche and advanced further south, they were unable to reach the tactical encirclement of Ukrainian forces as planned.
Geolocation data confirms that Russian troops seized part of the eastern shore of the Karlivka reservoir, but their advance did not create the conditions for encircling Ukrainian positions.
