These funds to strengthen the protection of Ukrainian skies were raised as part of the "Pack the Sky - Upgrade Air Defense" project: for 7 months, anyone could join the Nova Poshta collection and direct funds to the needs of the sky defenders.
As the present day shows, communication is crucial for all spheres of life. And communication between air defense units literally saves the lives of each of us. We have understood this from the very beginning of the Pack the Sky - Upgrade Air Defense project. As well as the fact that the process of manufacturing such modern equipment for the military is very complex, long and expensive. But we at Nova Poshta love challenging tasks and know that nothing is impossible. Despite all the difficulties, the goal we set together with "Come Back Alive" has been achieved. I am confident that now the defenders of the sky are even stronger and the enemy will not be able to overcome them
His company has donated UAH 183.6 million to the project, UAH 118.2 million was donated by Ukrainians to the project's account or bank, another UAH 26.6 million was donated by friends and partners of the project, including businesses and well-known bloggers, and the rest of the funds were raised in other ways, including by purchasing Nova Poshta merchandise and sending parcels in limited edition packaging.
The amount of over UAH 330 million from Nova Poshta, its customers and partners will provide the Center Air Command with modern communications equipment and mobile command posts, including backpacks for mobile fire teams, portable command posts that include transforming workstations in 60 kg cases, integrated communications equipment to support air defense missile systems, and camping trucks to command troops on the move. In addition, the list of equipment for the Center Air Command will include universal places for defenders to work and rest.
"This project increases the effectiveness of air and missile defense - from mobile firing groups, batteries of anti-aircraft missile systems, to military command and control of divisions, regiments or brigades. Providing the Center PMC with communication backpacks, KAZs, portable and mobile command posts will reduce the time from target detection to destruction from minutes to seconds. All components of the project fit together like a construction set. For example, even if we get a new anti-aircraft missile system in service, the entire system will work with it," says Taras Chmut, director of the Come Back Alive Foundation.
