Last week, Ukraine carried out the largest attack on the Russian capital since the start of the full-scale war, using about a thousand drones. According to the publication, the strikes damaged a major oil refinery and forced the Russian command to redeploy air defense systems from the front to protect Moscow. A similar attack was also carried out on St. Petersburg.
According to The Telegraph, NATO believes that moving hostilities deep into Russian territory undermines the Kremlin's strategy, which for a long time allowed isolating the population from the consequences of the war.
NATO announced a series of Russian failures
Deputy Supreme Allied Commander of NATO Joint Forces in Europe, Air Chief Marshal of the United Kingdom Sir Johnny Stringer stated that Russia has suffered a number of serious failures in the war against Ukraine.

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov stated during a conference in London that the long-range strike campaign aims to exhaust Russian forces and force Moscow to negotiations. According to him, Ukraine is gradually regaining the initiative in the war.
Separately, the publication recalls the recent ultimatum of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Belarus. Kyiv demands to stop assisting Russia in guiding attack drones, otherwise Ukraine reserves the right to strike military infrastructure on the territory of Belarus. The ultimatum expires at the end of this week.
