In Ukraine, the government is launching a national cashback program starting September 2 - Ukrainians will receive 10% compensation for purchases of "Made in Ukraine" goods, the Ministry of Economy said on Tuesday, UNN reports.

"The national cashback will start working on September 2 - the government has adopted a resolution. Ukrainians will receive 10% compensation for purchases of goods that are "Made in Ukraine," the Ministry of Economy said in a Telegram post.
The funds received can reportedly be spent on medical and utility services, sports, movies, train tickets, etc. Or donate to the Armed Forces. The maximum cashback amount is UAH 3 thousand per month.
"To become a participant, a citizen of Ukraine needs to issue a virtual card in his or her banking mobile application or a physical card in a bank to which the state will transfer funds," the ministry said.
Manufacturers and sellers of goods will be able to join the program through Diia.
Major retail chains and consumer goods manufacturers have already confirmed their participation in the program, the Ministry of Economy said.
