The head of the EU parliamentary faction, MP Petro Poroshenko, declared UAH 1 billion 440 million in income in 2023. This was reported by the NACP, UNN reports.

This, together with the income of 2022, is almost 20 times more than the MP's total income for the pre-war year of 2021

Also, last year, the leader of the EU withdrew more than $18 million from Ukraine through the purchase of securities abroad.

During the war, the income of the leader of the EU faction, Petro Poroshenko, has increased significantly. According to the MP's declaration, his income amounted to:

in 2023 - UAH 1 billion 440 million.

in 2022 - UAH 1 billion 435 million.

While in pre-war 2021, Poroshenko earned only UAH 162 million, which is 20 times less than during the years of the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The MP invested his income in the foreign economy, including securities of other countries, thus withdrawing about $18.6 million from Ukraine over the past year.

As reported, Petro Poroshenko became one of the three richest Ukrainians along with Viktor Pinchuk and Rinat Akhmetov. In 2023, compared to 2022, Poroshenko's wealth grew by $224 million and amounted to almost $1 billion.

At the end of 2023, Petro Poroshenko received  37 million from the Hungarian government alone, a week before his meeting with pro-Russian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, known for his anti-Ukrainian statements, the NACP reports.
