Ukraine and Poland have reached an agreement on crossing the border by trucks using railroad transport. Now this route will be used on a regular basis, UNN reports with reference to the GUR.
Details
According to intelligence, Ukrzaliznytsia has already organized a convenient route between the states, as well as a container train for the relevant needs. Recently, the first batch of trucks from Ukraine arrived at the Slavków railway station in Poland in this way. The security of the movement through the territory of Ukraine was ensured by the employees of the GUR.
The trucks will then move to their destinations by road.
Now this route is planned to be used regularly for transportation in both directions. More modernized platforms will be used for this purpose.
As a reminder,
Currently, three checkpoints on the border with Poland remain blocked as traffic through the Yahodyn-Dorogusk checkpoint has been reopened.
Traffic resumed after Polish protesters blocked the Dorohusk crossing in the evening of December 11, although it was unblocked during the day.
