Today 115 defenders of Ukraine's independence returned home.  Now the guys are being provided with all the necessary assistance and support. The Ministry of Internal Affairs,  State Border Guard Service and the Security Service of Ukraine showed the first calls to their families and exclusive footage of the released defenders, UNN reports

According to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, 92 of the released defenders are members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Most of them are defenders of Mariupol.

"89 soldiers of the National Guard and 3 soldiers of the State Border Guard Service are already on their native land. Almost 90% of them are conscripts who have been held captive by the aggressor for more than two years," Klymenko wrote on Telegram.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs also published  the first minutes of our Ukrainians on their native land  - a video of one of the heroes calling his mother.

"Mom, I'm home. In Ukraine!", - says the defender, and his mother starts crying with happiness.

The heroes who returned from the exchange also shouted Ukrainian slogans.

According to the State Border Guard Service, three of them are border guards of the 79th Kherson detachment. These soldiers have been in captivity since the first day of the full-scale invasion.

"Guys, hold on, everything will be Ukraine," says one of the newly exchanged border guards. An unforgettable Independence Day for the whole country and an incredible proof of how resilient Ukrainians are!
