Ministry of Defense doubles "bonuses" for destroying enemy drone operators

Double bonuses are now awarded in the DELTA system for destroying enemy drone pilots. Military personnel exchange accumulated points for equipment and components.

The destruction of Russian UAV operators even before they use their drones is one of the priorities of the "Army of Drones. Bonus" program. From now on, twice as many points are awarded for the destruction of one UAV operator, confirmed in the DELTA combat system, than for an infantryman. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, writes UNN.

These points can be exchanged for Ukrainian drones, electronic warfare equipment, and ground robotic systems, as well as components for them.

The goal of the innovation is to maximize the reduction of the enemy pilot's life cycle on the battlefield.

For this purpose, separate units are already being formed in Ukraine, whose specialization is the detection and destruction of Russian UAV operators.

New conditions for reconnaissance missions

The program conditions for reconnaissance missions have also been updated. A new category of targets – "unmanned system crew" – has been introduced into the system.

For such targets, the distance limit to the combat line has been abolished, which emphasizes their special priority: regardless of whether the crew operates near the front line or in depth, its detection remains equally important.

Thus, the reconnaissance of UAV crews has received increased priority in the motivation system.

What is "Army of Drones. Bonus"

"Army of Drones. Bonus" is a motivational program for providing the Defense Forces with equipment, based on the DELTA combat system.

It works as follows:

  • military personnel receive points awarded for the destruction and damage of enemy targets, mining, logistics, evacuation, and reconnaissance, and exchange them for the drones and equipment they need to perform combat missions – in Brave1 Market, through authorization in DELTA;
    • the provision process is implemented by the DOT Defense Procurement Agency through the DOT-Chain Defence digital system. It forms contracts with manufacturers and coordinates the direct delivery of drones and other equipment to units.

      Thanks to the use of DOT-Chain Defence, the average time from order to receipt by the unit is 10 days.
