Consequently, the state's ambassadors to several EU countries resigned, protesting against the government's decision to suspend the EU accession process until 2028.
- On November 29, Georgian Ambassador to Bulgaria Otar Berdzenishvili announced his resignation.
- On November 30, Acting Ambassador to Italy Heraclius Vekua resigned.
- Ambassador to the Netherlands David Solomonia also resigned from his post.
- On December 1, the resignation was announced by Ambassador to the United States David Zalkaliani, who previously served as Foreign Minister (2018-2022).
