The State Bureau of Investigation has served a notice of suspicion to a high-ranking official of the Lviv Regional Medical and Sanitary Expert Committee for concealing millions of dollars in assets, the SBI said on Monday, UNN reports.

"SBI officers served a notice of suspicion to a senior official of the Lviv Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission. She is suspected of declaring false information worth millions of hryvnias," the SBI said.
In particular, according to the SBI, "she did not indicate in the declaration for 2023 that she was using BMW X5 2023 and Mercedes GLE 2023 registered to her relatives." The total cost of the cars is, as indicated, almost UAH 6 million. "She also "rents" a parking space in the parking lot located in her house," the bureau said.
The official is reportedly suspected of declaring false information (part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to two years.
"The suspect was also handed a petition for a preventive measure in the form of bail and removal from office," the statement said.
