Kyiv region is accumulating all opportunities to attract alternative power sources and decentralize generation in the region. Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, spoke on Facebook about the region's steps towards energy sustainability and who can receive loans for the installation of alternative energy sources, UNN reports.
To provide people with heat, light and water, we are working on installing cogeneration units. We engage business and international partners to jointly implement energy projects. Now, thanks to new government instruments to support energy independence and energy efficiency, the number of such projects will increase. The government has proposed a package of solutions and financial programs to stimulate the energy resilience of Ukrainians. The main thing! On favorable terms and without unnecessary bureaucracy
The head of the RMA said that financial resources to improve energy resilience can be obtained:
- Individuals
A loan program of up to UAH 480 thousand at 0% for household owners to purchase solar panels with energy storage systems or wind turbines.
The loan term is 10 years.
Partner banks: "Privatbank, Oschadbank, Ukrgasbank, Sens Bank, Globus.
- Condominiums and housing cooperatives
Program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9" up to UAH 5 million at 7% per annum for the purchase and installation of solar panels, inverters, electricity storage systems and other auxiliary equipment.
Loan term - up to 5 years
Partner banks: "Oschadbank, Vostok, Privatbank, Sens Bank, Ukrgasbank, Globus, Sky Bank.
The GRIDIM program can be used in conjunction with such a loan. Under this program, the state compensates up to 70% of the cost of purchased equipment: up to UAH 1 million for the installation of a solar power plant, up to UAH 2 million for the installation of heat pumps, and up to UAH 3 million for the simultaneous installation of a solar power plant and a heat pump.

- Small and medium-sized businesses
Program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9" up to UAH 150 million for the purchase and installation of gas turbine, gas piston or biogas generating units.
The loan term is up to 10 years.
- Big business
Concessional lending for the implementation of energy infrastructure rehabilitation projects worth more than UAH 150 million. For the development of own generation, the loan amount can be up to EUR 25 million.
Base interest rate for loans in national currency: for the first year - 13.5% per annum or UIRD3M + 0.5%, starting from the second year - floating, but not more than UIRD12M + 3%. The term is up to 5-7 years,
Partner banks: 19 largest banks in Ukraine.
