On the night of March 23, a fire broke out at the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery in the Samara region of the Russian Federation. It was probably caused by a UAV attack, the Baza Telegram channel reports, according to UNN.

The Moscow Times confirmed the fire at the refinery, noting that it was a Rosneft plant.
The BRIEF telegram channel writes that an explosion occurred after the fire started.
The Novokuibyshevsk refinery is located in the Samara region of the Russian Federation and is part of the Rosneft group. The refinery produces, among other things, fuel for jet engines, oils for rocket launchers and passenger cars.
It is noted that about 30 types of the company's products are shipped both to Russia and abroad.
In addition, the Kuibyshev refinery produces and supplies top-grade RT jet fuel, the most popular in Russia. The refinery has a design capacity of 8.3 million tons of oil.
