Italian judges on Monday, November 11, ordered the return to Italy of seven men transferred to a migration center in Albania as part of a bilateral agreement to curb illegal migration. This was reported by The Guardian, according to UNN.

It is noted that the men referred to in the court's decision arrived at a migrant detention center in the Albanian city of Shenjin last week after the Italian coast guard rescued them while trying to reach Europe.
The Italian authorities insisted that all of them should be returned to their countries of origin - Egypt and Bangladesh - which the Italian government considers safe. But the judges cited a ruling by the EU Court of Justice that said otherwise.

On October 19, a Rome court ruled that the detention of 12 migrants in Albania was illegal and ordered them to be returned to Italy. The decision concerns a group of 16 people sent to Albania under a new bilateral agreement.
